“The cloud of discontent over our fair land which today is no larger than a man’s hand, will, under an aroused and informed Americanism, increase until it becomes a veritable tornado of offended patriotism which, descending, will wash our land free of those who have deliberately plotted to substitute a new social order for that which has been a blessing for a century and a half—the land of the free and the home of the brave. In the attainment of this worthy ideal there is a responsibility which no one can avoid. The victory can be achieved at the polls if each voter realizes the menace to our national existence. “
